Good morning, this is Eazy-E with your surf report for Thursday, October 9th.
First off good vibes and prayers to Florida and anywhere that has been or will be messed up by this storm.
We have plenty of neoprene jackets and spring suits. Come see them so you can get in the surf this week. It’s supposed to get chilly.
Surf is in the chest high range with super strong winds from the North at around 20kt and building to 25-35kt more from the NE as day continues.
We just came off a low tide before report time, have high tide at 1:54 p.m , low tide will be at 8:22 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 11.5 feet at 8 seconds in a longer period swell.
Our boys at NOAA predict, “Hurricane Milton will track into the western Atlantic through tonight. High pressure will build across the region Friday and extend through the weekend. A strong cold front could push through the area early next week”.
It’s 67* and rainy with a ton of wind all day.
Sunrise is at 7:21 a.m., Sunset 6:53 p.m.
