Tuesday 6th street
Good morning ya freakin kooks, this is Eazy-E with your surf report & forecast for this lovely Tuesday, July 29, 2025 coming from 6th street. I wanted to stop in and say what’s up to the Shaka Surf School family this morning since the waves did not grab my interest too much. The waves look super small and weak sitting around the shin-knee high range with a little texture on it early from those south gusts at 5-10kt.
Surf is pretty weak overall. And not a ton of energy to begin with, so the log is the only option I deem fit for the day if surfing is on the menu. I personally would find something else a tad more stimulating than trying to surf what’s out there right now, but hey, send it if you have to! Yewwww!
Winds are light out of the south at 5kt. Winds kick up to 10kt as the day expires and there is a slight chance of thunderstorms too.
We have an early afternoon high tide at 12:08 PM and later expect a low tide at 5:57 PM
The Edisto Buoy is currently reading 1.6ft at 9 seconds from the ESE.
Our friends at NOAA are saying that an; “Atlantic high pressure will prevail for most of the week, resulting in hot and humid conditions across the region. A cold front then looks to dive across our area Friday, allowing cooler temperatures and increased rain chances to return over the weekend”. So maybe it won’t be so dang hot this weekend when you are sitting folly traffic for your 4th hour. Or its still solid wishful thinking, if that ever helps.
Water temperatures are sitting at a toasty 85*
It is currently 84* and should be a mostly overcast day with a high of 89*.
Sunrise was at 6:32 am and the sunset will be at 8:21 p.m.
Thanks for tuning in for today’s Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
