Tuesday December 2nd @ 5th street

Good morning. This is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, December 2nd at 9 a.m.

Waves at the Folly are in the waist-to-chest high range. It is nice and clean. There should be a fun wave all morning and not a ton of texture due to the wind blowing from NW around 5-10kt. If you have a window to get out and surf some I would try and do so. It is some what firing to be honest.

Tide is low at 11:17. We see a high tide today at 5:18 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is showing 8.9 ft. at 7 sec. in a short period south-easterly swell.

The surfing should be super fun today and it is forecast to go offshore late too! So maybe a before sunset sender session could go down this evening!

Our friends over at NOAA predict a: “A storm system will pass through the region late today bringing much needed rainfall to coastal South Carolina and Georgia. High pressure then returns for the middle of this week before the next frontal system impacts the area Friday into the weekend”. Thus providing some much-needed rain and making the conditions a little more favorable as well.

It’s 60* and rainy this morning. Looking for a high is 64* and stormy.

Sunrise was 7:06 a.m. Sunset 5:14 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
