Good morning, this is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 9 a.m.

We will close at 2 p.m. today for New Year’s Eve. We will be closed on New Year’s Day, but will re-open January 2 at 10 a.m. for normal winter business hours.

Surf at Folly shin-knee high early. Difficult to get a good eye on it this morning with the Fog so thick. Might be a fun little wave for the higher volume boards today, but its looking pretty weak and mehhh.

We had a high tide at report time, have a low tide at 2:16 p.m with another high tide just after sunset

Bouy is reading 3.0 feet at 7 seconds in a medium period ESE swell.

Surf is pretty lame today but it sure is nice outside and gorgeous on the beach so get off the couch and move a little, even if its not on the new shack-finder sled you got for Christmas.

The water temperature is around 54*.

It’s 55* with clouds and fog with a high climbing to mid 60s hopefully some sun once the fog burns off.   

Sunrise was at 7:22 a.m., and sunset will be at 5:25 p.m.
