It’s looking pretty flat at the washout this morning. Winds are north-west at 7 mph keeping it glassy.

We are just coming off low tide at 7:10 a.m. High tide peaks at 1:28 p.m. with a low tide at 7:46 p.m. tonight.

Not much in store for today. High pressure has settled back in for the work week keeping our surf down with the offshore winds. Models still have a strong low moving off the central Atlantic and intensifying eventually shoving a decent NE ground swell to the Sunshine State late work week. It will miss our shores. Sunday is looking like a day we could get some surf again and then into the following work week.
NOAA Forecast: “A dry cold front will drop through the area tonight, followed by high pressure through Saturday. The next weather system will arrive Saturday night into Sunday. High pressure should return early next week.
Current water temp: 64. It’s sunny and 53 this morning. We have a high of 64* and sunshine today, beautiful December day at the beach.
Sunrise is 7:07 a.m., Sunset 5:13 p.m.
That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
