Good morning surf punks! This is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday February 25 at 8:45 a.m.

We’ve got another unrideable morning. “Arrrgggghhh!” Said in best pirate’s voice.

The winds are currently light and variable forecasted to continue north-west today, going south-west late day.

We had a low tide early this morning at 11:44 a.m. The next high tide will be at 5:40 p.m.

Edisto Bouy is reading 1.3 feet at 8 seconds medium period esouth-east swell.

Surf again flat due to high pressure sitting over us through tomorrow evening. As a cold front approaches on Thursday, there could be high-volume style surf Thursday morning as winds go south/south-west ahead of a frontal boundary.

Our guys and girls at NOAA tell us: “High pressure will prevail through Wednesday night. A cold front will move through late Thursday. High pressure returns Friday through the weekend.”

The water temperature is around 56*

It’s 48* and windy right now. with sunshine and a high of 59* later on.

Sunrise was at 6:55 a.m., and sunset will be at 6:14 p.m.

Thanks for tuning in for the Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
