Good morning, this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Tuesday, Feb 27th at 8:15 a.m.  Happy National Retro Day?!?

We currently still have all our 4/3 wetsuits on sale, so come and get them while the weather is still cold! Always good to be ready to roll come next cold season too.

Live from the washout. It’s FLaT.

Winds are south-west this morning at 10 knots. Look for winds to increase today into the rest of the week.

High tide is at 9:20 a.m. and is pretty full coming off the recent full moon. Low tide will drop out at 3:23 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 1.0 feet at 9 seconds from the East.

Pretty weak out there right now. We strong southerly winds picking up today through Wednesday night and then going north-east Thursday. Seeing thigh-belly high short period swell building on Weds with a cleanup overnight on Thursday. Weekend winds may give Saturday a good look, but not a lot of confidence in the wind forecast right now.

The water temp is around 60*.

The NOAA Marine Forecast for our waters calls for: “High pressure will prevail across the region into Wednesday. The next cold front will move through Wednesday night, with high pressure to return Thursday. Unsettled weather could then impact the region over the weekend.

It’s 58 and sunny. Look for a high of 64* and partly sunny today.

Sunrise is 6:49 a.m., Sunset 6:15 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
