Good morning this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, July 11th at 8:30 a.m.

Waves at the washout are slappin’ ankles. It’s super glassy and super small. Somewhere is a lake with better waves than we have right now. So either come enjoy a beautiful beach day or get that to do list done.

Winds are north at 6 knots and its like a mirror out there. Eventually the winds will swing out of the south at 5-10 kts late this evening.

We have a low tide at 9:15 a.m., and high tide will be at 3:51 p.m. The next low is at 10:07 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 2.6 feet at 7 seconds in a medium period south/southwest wind swell.

Not much to say. It’s glassy, it’s small. May be some cruisers with the incoming tide to mid tide if the wind stays light. Right now, the whole week is looking like it’ll be a small south wind chop in the surf zone. Spend time with loved ones and wait for that first hurricane swell to show up in August.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “A weak front will remain stalled in the vicinity of the forecast area into mid week before dissipating. An inland trough will develop later in the week as high pressure begins to build over the Atlantic.”

Water temperature is around 85*

It’s 78* with blue skies this morning. Expect glorious weather all day with a high of 86*

Sunrise is at 6:20 a.m., and sunset will be at 8:29 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
