Wave Forecast: Ankle-Knee
Traffic: None

Dangers: None.

Good morning this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, July 25th at 7:30 a.m.

Calling all Kayakers, Canoers, Paddleboarders. Today is your day. Waves at Folly this morning are ankle to knee-high and its super glassy out. Dolphins are everywhere. There may be a little push for a longboard wave as the tide pushes in if the wind stays slack.

Winds are west at 5 knots, and surf-zone is clean.

We expect winds to swing to the south at 5-10 knots in the afternoon.

We are just coming off low tide at 7:15 a.m. High tide is at 1:53 p.m. Next low tide is 8:03 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 1.6 feet at 10 seconds in a medium-period south-east swell.

With high pressure set up over our marine area for the foreseeable future, it’s going to be hard to see any REAL surf  the next day or two. We do have a tropical disturbance of the coast. Chances of formation are small, but we may get a day of waves from it. We’ll keep you updated.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “High pressure will prevail this week. A cold front could approach the region early next week.”

Water temperature is around 85*.

It’s 77* and sunny this morning.  Expect sunny to partly cloudy and hot today with a high of 87*. It’s gonna be warm out, but a beautiful day at the beach.

Sunrise is at 6:22 a.m., and sunset will be at 8:28 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
