Winds are north at 10 to 12 knots, surf is side-shore with some drift down the beach, it is overall fairly clean as the tide heads out.

Look for winds to continue north at 10 to 15 knots late morning, going east at 5 to 10 late day. Surf zone stays overall semi-clean today with high angled north-east wind swell in the water.

Tide is going out. Low tide is at 12:51. High tide will be at 6:57 p.m.

There is some mixed easterly swell in the water averaging thigh to waist high as the tide goes out this morning. Overall, conditions are soft, but it’s rideable.  Surf goes small mid-to-late week, before we see another south trade-wind swell late weekend with bigger conditions and south winds as high pressure sets up well off the mid-Atlantic late Saturday into Sunday and a warm front lifts north. Should be some waves starting late Sunday and into the middle part of your next work week.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our area currently calls for: “High pressure will remain the dominant feature for most of this week. Late this week, a large low pressure system will organize over the Central Plains, lifting a warm front north of the region this weekend into early next week.”

It’s 53* with sun. Expect a nice beach day with a high of 65* and sun.

Water Temperature is up to around 59*. It should be on the rise later this week as warm temperatures return.
