Surf at The Washout this morning is ankle-to-knee high.

Look for north-west winds this morning at 10 knots, going south this afternoon. Surf stays small and semi-clean today.

We have a low tide this morning at 10:52 a.m. We have a high tide at 4:57 p.m.

Virtual buoy readings are showing 1.4 ft. at 7 seconds in a medium-period, high-angled east/north-east swell.

Not much surf today through Thursday, but swell looks begin to show signs of life Friday, when we should see a longer period east/south-east trade-wind swell fill in for the weekend. Look for increased on-shore flow with high pressure to our north-east a low forming north-east of the Caribbean. Friday though Sunday shows promise for some decent surf with warm temperatures.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “High pressure will prevail off the Southeast coast    through the  end of the week. Next week a backdoor cold front followed by a storm system could bring some impacts to the region.”

It is currently 43* with sun. Look for a great beach day with a high of 64* and lots of sunshine.

Water temperature is back down to 55*.

The days are getting longer. Sunrise is at 6:35 a.m. and sunset will be at 6:23 p.m.
