Good morning, this EAZY-E with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast at 7:30 a.m. for Tuesday, November 5, 2024
Surf at folly is waist to chest high and tons of power, winds are side-offshore definitely some drift but looks like some decent waves coming in.
Winds are S-SW 5-15kt and should increase to 10-20kt as day continues.
We have a high tide approaching at 9:52 a.m. with a low tide at 4:16 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 8.9 feet at 10 seconds in long period south-easterly swell.
Our guys over at NOAA predict that “A low pressure trough just off the SE coast will drift W and move inland today. Strong high pressure across the northern waters will shift E and NE of the region today, and then will extend a ridge back W over the waters later today through Thu evening”.
