Good morning ya kooks n rippers, this is Charlie with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, October 28th coming to you from the washout at 8:30 am. Check out our instagram page @oceansurfshop
It looks FUN. Pretty dang clean with some scattered lines coming in pretty consistently. Kinda a mix of waves, some super mushy, some steep, around waist to head high. If you’re able to get out there, GO!
Winds are currently around 17 mph out of the N with gusts up to 25 mph. Expect speeds to climb to about 20 mph with gusts nearing 26 mph throughout the day.
We had a low tide early this morning at 6:25 a.m. Expect a high tide this afternoon at 1:04 p.m. followed by another low tide after dark at 7:30 p.m.
If you’ve been itching to surf some good Folly swell today is the day! Not as epic as we have had these past few swells but still super fun and clean. As for tomorrow, the forecast has again switched in our favor. We should see lighter offshore winds all day tomorrow. It’ll bring a clean swell possibly a little smaller than today.
The water temperature is 69*
It is currently 58* and windy on the island. Look for a high of 62* with wind all day.
Sunrise was at 7:35 a.m. and the sunset will be at 6:34 p.m.
