Good morning! This is EAZY-mf-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
Surf has dropped off entirely from last swell and it may be knee high on set wave today. Its super clean but kind of weak and small.
Super clean conditions today with winds staying low around the 5-10 kt range coming out of the NE becoming more E as the day continues.
Low tide was at 8:21 am, high tide today will be at 3:05 pm. Next low is this evening at 9:26 pm.
Edisto buoy is showing 3.0 ft at 8 sec in a shorty period SE swell.
Surf today is super clean and pretty but a higher volume board would be the best choice for sure. The guys over at NOAA predict, “A cold front will move slowly south into the area today, then pass through on Wednesday. High pressure will build from the north into late week, before giving way to a cold front early next week”. Maybe a little hope for some swell on the horizon this weekend, but time will tell!
