Surf at the Washout this waist to stomach high with chest high sets in glassy conditions.
Winds are north at 5 to 8 knots. Look for winds to switch to SE later in the day but remain light.
The tide is going out, and low tide will be at 1:01 p.m., with a high tide at 7:04 p.m.
Edisto buoy is reading 5.2 ft. at 10 seconds in ENE wind swell.
North wind swell is in the water today, waist to stomach with some glassy chest high sets. We see north swell today with waves averaging waist high with colder conditions. Swell rotates more from the south/south-west for Thursday and Friday when we see thigh to waist high surf in choppy side-shore conditions.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A strong high pressure wedge will cover the area today into tonight. High pressure will then prevail through late week. A cold front will move into the area Friday night and may linger in the vicinity over the weekend, before lifting north as a warm front early next week.”
It is cloudy/foggy and 47* this morning. Look for a high of 66* with mostly cloudy skies this afternoon.
Water temperature is right around 55*.
Sunset is at 6:03 p.m. and sunrise will be at 7:03 a.m.
