Good morning, this is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, April 20 at 8:30 a.m.

We just received a shipment of men’s Billabong 2 MM short-sleeve full suits for the spring session. Come get them while we still have some in stock.

Surf at The Washout this morning is shin to knee high. It is weak and choppy. Looks pretty poor once again.

Winds are south-west at 10 to 12 knots ahead of a dry cold front.

Look for strong westerly winds this afternoon at 20 to 30 knots, and choppy, blown out surf all day.

Low tide is at 9:31 a.m., and high tide will be at 3:43 p.m. The next low tide at 9:45 p.m.

Virtual buoy readings are showing less than 1 ft. in mixed direction east/south-easterly swell.

Waves are terrible once again. A dry cold front passage this afternoon does not show promise for waves. We have overall small conditions in the forecast all week, but as low pressure moves into our marine area on Saturday, we see surf pick up Saturday in a windy south wind swell. Winds go west for Sunday, and hopefully will clean up Saturday’s south wind swell.
