Surf at Folly is knee-to-thigh high this morning. There will likely push a waist high set on the incoming in a high-angled easterly wind swell.

Winds are north-east – side-shore – at 15 knots, and surf zone is drifty down the beach, and semi-choppy.

Tide is pushing in. We have a high tide at 1:24 p.m.  A low tide will follow later this evening at 7:11 p.m.

We have north-easterly wind swell in the water this morning. If you want a drifty longboard session, it’s possible to catch a ride. Look for increasing easterly winds this afternoon averaging 15 knots and choppy, drifty conditions for your Wednesday. This swell begins to rotate more on-shore overnight Thursday into Friday ahead of storm systems late week. Friday looks to be choppy, but bigger. Look for a slight clean up Saturday, but with a series of springtime disturbances crossing our marine area Sunday and Monday Surf should pick up again in a windy south-west wind swell.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “High pressure will pass to our north today, then shift offshore. A series of storm systems will bring impacts to our area through the end of the week, possibly into early next week. High pressure will then return next week.”

Its 65 this morning with sunny skies. Look for a of 71 with some clouds this afternoon and a 35% chance of rain later today.

Water temperature is 71*.

Sunrise is at 6:38 a.m., and sunset will be at 7:56 p.m.
