Surf is currently building due to an approaching front today, bringing strong SSW winds and choppy waist to shoulder high surf as the day moves on. Winds could rotate a bit more favorable before dark. Winds crank hard offshore overnight and blow the surf flat by morning. High pressure then returns over our marine area and the surf goes flat again.
