Good morning, this is Eazy-e with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Wednesday, January 15th at 9:00 a.m.
Surf is non-existent, flat, whatever word you want to throw in to make you feel better please do. Waves suck today. No need for higher volume or longer boards, it is FLAT!
Winds are currently 10-15kt from the North. Thw winds seem to stay consistent all day with not a ton changing.
We came off a high tide at 8:51 a.m. The next low tide will be at 2:55 p.m., followed by another high tide at 9:12 p.m. tonight.
Edisto Bouy is reading 5.2 feet at 6 seconds in an W swell.
Stow those boards away because it doesn’t look like we will get off this flat spell for at least the next few days.
Our guys and gals over at NOAA predict that a “High pressure will prevail through the week. A low-pressure system and associated cold front will impact the region this weekend. Another low pressure system could impact the region early to mid-next week’. So expect cold breezy and flat conditions for a while.
The water temperature is around 48*.
It is currently sunny and 44*. Seems like the sun will stay out all day today with a high of 50*.
Sunrise was at 7:23 a.m., and sunset will be at 5:37 p.m.
