We see building north-east wind swell this week, with a high angled and mostly choppy conditions. Surf should average around waist high today. There will be plenty of drift down the beach. Lots of North north-east swell in the Atlantic heading to Florida, some should push in to our beaches, but it’ll be windy and drifty. Late week, some models are showing a low develop in the gulf and moving near our marine area. But for now its going to be choppy, drifty and cold this week.

After the cold front passage yesterday, it’s cold. It’s 36* and sunny with a wind chill of 29*. Look for a high of 53* today with wind and sun.

Water temperature has dropped WAY back down to 54* with the cold snap.

Sunrise is at 7:20 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:40 p.m.
