Weekly Wave Forecast

Surf looks to stay small almost all of the work week, through Friday, when we see a series of storm systems begin its push through our marine area. This should build another significant south wind swell Friday and into the weekend, with moderate-to-strong south winds increasing Friday and Saturday. Disturbances then move off-shore on Sunday, when we see cleaner surf with continued south swell. We could also see significant trade wind swell through the middle of next week as high pressure sets up well off the Mid-Atlantic states, with more on-shore flow predicted. Surf looks to fall off late next week.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail into Friday before a series of fronts bring unsettled weather to the area this weekend into the middle of next week.”
