Good morning everybody, this is Luke the Kook with your surf report and Forecast for Wednesday, June 5  at 7:45 a.m.

The surf shop is packed with new gear and boards so come check it all out!!

Surf at Folly picked up a bit showing knee-waist high at the moment, looks sorta fun definitely the most surf we have had in a while.

Winds are out of the south at 5 kt increasing to 10-15kt with gust of 20kt this afternoon.

We have a high tide at report time, low tide today is at 1:38 p.m. another high tide to close the day out at 8:05 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is reading 2.6ft at 7 seconds from the SE

Surf again has picked up a notch waist high sets this morning looks sorta fun. Thanks to high pressure sliding well off our coastline producing some onshore flow. Im seeing this trending into tomorrow and even early Friday morning before surf slows back down and becomes more flat again. Nothing significant but enough to get wet yeeeeew!!!

Your National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration forecast for our marine area calls for: “A high pressure will extend across the area through Wednesday. A cold front will approach from the northwest on Thursday, then slowly move through on Friday”.

The water temperature is hovering right around 79*.

It’s currently 79 and  sunny. Looks like we have some clouds and a high of 81* today.

Sunrise 6:11 a.m., Sunset 8:24 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf, check back tomorrow.
