We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. We will re-open for regular winter shop hours Friday from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

We won’t be doing a surf report on Thanksgiving Day, but there’s not going to be much surf anyway. Happy Thanksgiving.

We just received a large shipment of Stewart Epoxy longboards and Orion Epoxy short-boards and longboards. Come check them out. We also have Zap skimboards in the shop. We are stocked up.

Surf at The Washout is knee-to-thigh high.

Winds are north at 8 knots, and surf zone is soft and clean with a slight leftover drift north-to-south.

High tide is at 10:31 a.m. low tide will be at 4:58 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 4.3 ft. ft. at 10 seconds in and easterly swell, with a north east wind swell component 3 ft at 5 seconds.

We have overall pretty small surf today with a high north angle on it. Surf looks small mid-to-late week as wind come modarate off-shore and push down the surf for most of your holiday work week. The weekend looks small too, as a series of cold fronts moves through our marine area and keeps off-shore winds in the forecast, blowing down the surf.

Your National Weather Service Marine Weather Forecast for our area calls for: “High pressure will prevail across the region through Thanksgiving Day. A cold front will move through the area Friday, followed by dry conditions for the weekend and early next week.”

It’s a chilly 41* with sun this morning. Look for a high of 55* and sun with wind today.

Water temperature is around 58* and will drop over the next few days.

Sunrise is at 6:57 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:15 p.m.
