Good morning this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Wednesday, November 29th at 8:15 a.m.

This episode of “Cold and Flat” is brought to you from atop the Folly Beach Pier. Don’t worry we have the heat on, so stop by and kick it with us at the shop.

The winds are NNE at 9 mph and will flutter between NE and NW at 5-10 mph today.

High tide will peak at 8:50 a.m., then low tide will be at 3:13 p.m. Tonight’s high tide is 9:13 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 1.3 ft at 4 seconds out of the east.

Today is cold and flat and not much of a reason to put the neoprene on. Late Thursday night winds will rotate to a more southerly flow into the weekend. The onshore flow will hopefully generate a little surf for us. We will keep you posted on that as we get closer.  Late Sunday or Monday morning could be a quick clean up session.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “High pressure will prevail across the region through Thursday. The next frontal system should impact the region this weekend into early next week, followed by high pressure by the middle of next week.”

Water temperature is 60*ish. Bring your wetsuit.

It’s a breezy 42* and sunny this morning. We see a high of 54* with sunshine.

Sunrise is at 7:02 a.m. Sunset is right at 5:14 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
