Good morning, this is Charlie with your Ocean Surf Shop Surf Report and Forecast for Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 8 a.m. from 13th Street.
It’s a little chilly out there today so come stop by the shop to pick up some warmer gear as we get closer to winter.
Definitely a wave out there today but super disorganized and drifty. Waves are stomach to chest high with a few bigger sets here and there.
Winds are 18 mph out of the north-east right now with gusts up with 26 mph coming later today.
Our guys at NOAA predict that a “High pressure will prevail to the north through tonight. A cold front will offshore Thursday night. High pressure will then return and prevail into early next week.”
Looks like it may clean up tomorrow morning so keep an eye out. Surf will die out as we get closer into the weekend.
We have a low tide at 11:17 a.m. and a high tide at 5:25 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 7.2 feet at 7.7 seconds from the east.
Water temp is 71*
It’s 59* and windy all day. Look for a high of 67*
Sunrise was at 6:48 a.m. and Sunset will be at 5:19 p.m.
