Good morning, this is Eazy-E with your surf report & forecast for Wednesday, May 21st at 8:45 a.m.

Today the waves are pretty small and cleanish but lacking power and any kind of organization. Not much out there today even if you have the higher volume boards. Might want to head to the office or gym rather than try and make that work.

Winds are currently 10kt out of the SW with gusts up to 20kt as the day continues. Winds will stay around 10-15 kt for the majority of the day.

We’re approaching low tide at 9:12 a.m. Look for a high tide this afternoon at 3:27 p.m. followed by a low tide after sunset at 9:40 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is currently reading 3.6ft at 5 seconds out of the SW.

Not much on the forecast for this week. If we’re lucky, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday of next week will provide a line for a proper wiggle or two!

 Our guys and gals at NOAA predict, “A cold front will arrive today and push offshore early evening, followed by high pressure through the weekend”. Pretty much enjoy whatever little cooler weather we have the next few days because the sauna of summer is upon us folks.

Water temperature is about 75*.

It is currently 78* and partly cloudy on the island. Look for a high of 85* and the sun to come out later in the morning.  

Sunrise was at 6:18 a.m. and the sunset will be at 8:16 p.m.
