Good morning friends, this is Eazy-E with your surf report & forecast for Wednesday, May 28th at 8:30 a.m. coming from The Pier.
Tons of new gear at the shop and the season is right around the corner! Come see us at ocean and snag that new travel sled with some fresh threads to look the part when struggling at third reef washout this summer! Yewwwww, cant wait to see ya!
The waves have shown a small increase in size and power this morning as the loggers had some nice long left peelers at the pier. Bigger board looks ideal and could have some fun, so send that shit!!
It’s pretty mellow on the island today. Winds are currently 5-10kt out of the SW. Winds will stay around that speed for the majority of the day so it looks to be a nice day to beach it.
The tide is currently rising, with high tide hitting at 9:39 a.m. Look for a low tide around 3:28 p.m., followed by another high tide just after sunset at 10:06 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is currently reading 4.6 ft at 8 seconds out of the E.
Our guys and gals at NOAA say: “A series of disturbances will affect the area through Thursday, then a cold front will sweep through late Friday. High pressure will build in over the weekend into early next week”. Hopefully providing us with a rideable wave next week!
Water temperature is about 75*.
It’s pretty nice out there today. It is currently 74*with little wind. Look for clouds and sun mixed in all day.
Sunrise was at 6:15 a.m. and the sunset will be at 8:21 p.m.
