Wednesday Pier

Good morning beautiful people, It’s ya boy Eazy-E with your surf report & forecast for Tuesday, July 9 from the Pier.

Surf is thigh high at best and not looking super fun, winds are on it out of the S adding some funk to it too.

Winds are currently S 5-10kt increasing to 15kt with 20kt gust! Thus, the waves are pretty messy unorganized and just look super appealing this morning. If surfing is all you can do today then I would for sure advise getting a higher volume shred-sled for any future sendies.

The tide is currently dropping after an early morning hightide around 7:24 with low tide expected at 1:25pm. The next high tide will be at 8:03pm

The Edisto buoy is currently reading 3.0ft at 5 seconds in a short period S swell.

Surf looks smaller for the remainder of the week as well, so pray the groms get a little push for the Grom-fest this weekend! The crew over at NOAA predict; “A weak high pressure will extend across the area through the weekend”. Thus, providing us with thunderstorms chances all weekend.

Water temperatures are sitting at a toasty 82*

It is currently 80* and partly cloudy. Look for a high temp of 84*

Sunrise was at 6:20am and the sunset will be at 8:31pm.

Thanks for tuning in for today’s Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
