Good morning, this is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Wednesday, February 5th at 8:00 a.m.
Looking to be a nice and sunny day with a small and rather weak knee high wave coming through this morning.
Winds are 5kt from the NE and will most likely stay true to that and not get too windy for the afternoon.
We will have a low tide at 7:15 a.m. and a high tide around 1:25 p.m. Followed by another low tide later tonight around 7:25 p.m.
Edisto Bouy is reading 2.0 feet at 10 seconds in SE medium period swell.
The surf is pretty flat with a few waves popping up here and there. A possible bump in wave size with the next few days.
Our guys and gals at NOAA predict “A cold front will stall over the area today and tonight, then lift north Thursday. Another front may approach the area Friday night, then high pressure will build in through Sunday. A storm system will bring unsettled weather to the area early to mid-next week”.
The water temperature is around 49*.
Another super nice day to get outside and enjoy the sun today. It is currently 53* out with ahigh of around 60*.
Sunrise was at 7:12 a.m., and sunset will be at 5:57 p.m.
