Good morning everyone, this is Luke with your Wednesday August 7th surf report and forecast. Sorry for the delay.
Shop will be OPEN today
Surf at Folly is waist-shoulder high+ winds are currently swinging around offshore and its pretty fun currently. Little drift
Winds are currently moderate/strong North trying to bend north-west about 15-20+
We have a high tide approaching at 10:45 a.m. a low tide will eventually drop out at 4:42 p.m.
Edisto buoy is reading 7.9ft at 8 seconds from the SSE
Surf at folly is currently pretty fun waist-shoulder high with some plus set. All your friends are out there. Winds should be pretty good offshore for the day with plenty of southerly swell. Looking ahead Debby looks to move to our NW direction and her southern bands paired with offshore high pressure should generate some Strong southerly flow again for us tomorrow but with onshore winds. But our surf should rebuild. All in All Debby is good in my book. Still be safe and no your limits.
Cloudy mixed with rain showers today with heavier more steady rain moving in later today. With a high of 84* As Debby rain moves in again.
