clean early more choppy later hours
Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast foR Thursday, June 13 at 7:00 a.m.
Waves at the Washout are thigh to waist+ looking fun out there this morning.
Winds are WSW at 10 mph making the surf zone clean overall with some surface texture.
Look for winds from the WSW throughout the afternoon hours in the 15 mph range.
Low tide is at 11:21 this morning. High tide will be at 6:00 this evening.
The Edisto buoy is reading 5.9 ft. at 6 seconds in a SSW windswell.
We have waves! Finally something to actually report surf at the washout early this morning looks fun in the waist+ range. Nobody really out early and winds are cooperating early. Looking ahead for the weekend High pressure looks to return later in the work week and weekend keeping the surf down. Go surf if ya can today!
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A dry cold front will sweep through this evening, followed byhigh pressure through much of next week.”
It’s 73* and mostly sunny this morning and a high of 86*.
