We see thigh to waist high south-east wind swell today with a bigger set this morning as the tide comes in. Look for thigh to waist high surf this afternoon with choppy conditions. We expect high-angled north-east wind swell to begin filling in Saturday – building on Sunday and Monday as low pressure moves to our south off of Florida and high pressure sets up to our north. Look for surf to average waist to stomach high in drifty conditions for Sunday into Monday.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A cold front will move through this morning. High pressure will continue to build from the northwest into the weekend while the front lingers offshore. An area of low pressure should form along the front on Saturday, then shift northeast away from the area early next week. High pressure should then prevail mid to late next week.”
It is 77* with clouds this morning. Look for a high of 86* and a 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms.
Water temperature is 86*.
Sunset is at 7:55 p.m. and sunrise will be at 6:48 a.m.
