Winds are north at 5 knots, surf is nice and clean, and it looks really fun.
We see north-east winds at 10 knots going south-east at 10 to 12 knots later today. Look for semi-choppy surf later.
We have a high tide at 8:55 a.m., and low tide will be at 3:21 p.m. The the next high tide is at 9:22 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is reading 4 ft. at 8 seconds in a medium-period east/south-east wind swell.
Look for waist to stomach high (plus, this morning) surf today, with south-easterly winds keeping some bump and chop in the surf zone later today. Small but rideable surf continues for Monday morning’s high tide, before surf goes small for most of the work week. So, today is a great day to get some surf.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “Weak high pressure across the region today will give way to an approaching cold front late tonight. The cold front will move through the area on Monday, followed by high pressure through late in the week.”
It’s cloudy and 49* this morning. Look for a high of 63* today with some sun behind the clouds.
