bumpy, drifty but clean faces
Good morning, this is Annie with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Thursday, Oct. 19 at 8:30 a.m.

Colder air temps today and waves at the washout are thigh to waist high with a larger set now and then. Waves are up in the rocks after this morning’s high tide.
Winds are NNE at 15-20 knots, and surf zone is semi-choppy and bumpy with clean faces. Look for semi-choppy surf all day as winds will be the same all day.
Low tide will be at 2:18 pm followed by high tide at 8:23 pm.
Edisto buoy is reading 7.2 ft. at 5.5 seconds in steep ESE wind swell.
Look for NNE winds at 15-20 knots and bumpy conditions all day. Conditions will be slightly drifty for today and late into the work week as winds remain E/NE and surf averages waist to stomach high. Surf and the north-east winds fade off some Friday into Saturday and turn SE
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “Strong high pressure will build over the area through Saturday, then shift off the coast. A cold front will move through the area on Tuesday.”
It is 64* and sunny this morning. Look for a high of 80* with sun through this afternoon.
Water temperature is around 79* but will probably drop a little with this NE wind.
Sunset is at 6:46 p.m. and sunrise will be at 7:23 a.m.
