Good morning, this is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, April 10 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at the Washout is knee high with a thigh set. It could push waist high early afternoon as the tide comes in.
Winds are out of the north/north-east at 10 to 12 knots, and surf is side-shore, and semi-clean.
Winds are expected go north-east at 15 knots. Surf should be semi-choppy today.
Low tide is at 10:26 a.m. high tide will be at 4:32 p.m.
The Edisto buoy reading 4.6 ft. at 8 seconds in a high-angled combination of medium period north-easterly swell and short period north-easterly wind swell.
We see winds trend north/north-east to start the work week as an upper level disturbance lingers along the South Carolina Coast today. Look for surf to average knee to thigh high with semi-choppy conditions. This swell drops down late in the work week, before we see a bigger southerly wind swell build late Saturday through Sunday.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “An upper level disturbance will move through today. High pressure will then prevail through Saturday. A strong cold front will affect the area Sunday, followed by dry high pressure.”
It is a 54* and cloudy this morning. Look for a high of 58* with rain showers and clouds today.
Water temperature is around 63*.
