Good morning, this is Annie with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Wednesday, April 11 at 8:30 a.m.

Tons of new spring merchandise arriving every day-stop in to see what’s new!

Surf at the Washout is running in the knee high range.

Winds are N at 6 knots, and surf is clean.

Winds are expected to switch E later today and overnight before becoming SE tomorrow, yet should remain light.

The first low tide will be at 11:16 am followed by high tide at 5:25 pm.

The Edisto buoy reading 6.2 ft. at 5.4 seconds in a combination NNE/ENE wind swell mix.

With winds remaining light today through tomorrow, there may be a chance for some N swell to be intercepted, though it is not expected to be very big. This swell drops down late in the work week, before we see a bigger southerly wind swell build late Saturday through Sunday.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail through Saturday. A strong cold front will affect the area Sunday, followed by dry high pressure.”

It is a 54* and sunny this morning. Look for a high of 68* with mostly sun today. Water temperature is around 63*. Sunset is at 7:47 p.m. and sunrise will be at 6:55 a.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
