Good morning, this is Annie with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, November 13th at 8:30 a.m.

Waves at the pier this morning appear to be running in the chest high range. The fog is intense and it’s hard to see the waves from the shoreline.
Winds are SW at 5-10 knots and surf like slightly textured.
We expect W winds later today with fog and scattered showers throughout the day. Let’s hope for another perfect window of surf like last night.
High tide is coming up at 11:38 a.m., and low tide will be at 5:53 p.m. The Edisto buoy is reading 7 ft. at 7 seconds in a combination of SSE swell and SW wind. Look for fairly sizeable surf all day, with fog and scattered storms expected throughout the day. We’ll see the wind do a full rotation W, then NE tonight and into Wednesday and Thursday. We should continue to see high-angled swell move into the area throughout the week. There is a tropical wave to the SE with now a 20% chance of formation, but we still may see an increase in southerly swell later this week.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A series of storm systems will impact the area through mid week with cool and dry high pressure returning by this weekend. A mainly dry cold front could move through early next week.
It’s 65* and foggy this morning. Look for temps around 73* today with rain and clouds.
Water temperature is 66*.
Sunset is at 5:22 p.m. and sunrise will be at 6:43 a.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
