Wave Forecast: thigh to waist
Traffic: none

Good morning, this is Annie with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Wednesday, November 14th at 8:30 a.m.

Looking forward to our “Schwack Friday” sale here at Ocean Surf Shop, with $100 off any new board all day, and a 25% off sale on men’s and women’s apparel and more. Come check us out the day after Thanksgiving!

Waves at the pier this morning are running in the thigh high range.

Winds are N at 15 knots and surf is angled and side shore, but clean

Winds are expected to increase from the NE throughout the day, gusting up to 25 knots later today with rain mixed in this afternoon.

High tide is coming up at 12:29 a.m., and low tide will be at 6:42 p.m.  The Edisto buoy is reading 4.9 ft. at 6 seconds in a combination of NNE wind and swell. Yesterday’s swell has dropped substantially, but there is a leftover long left at the pier this morning. We should expect high-angled winds from the N throughout the remainder of the week and into the weekend with a small window of offshore wind Thursday evening.  We continue to see cold fronts and high pressure systems trade places off the coast for the remainder of the week.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “Low pressure will affect the area into Thursday with cool and dry high pressure then returning through this weekend. A cold front could move through early next week with a few showers followed by cool and dry high pressure once again into the middle of next week.”

It’s 56* and cloudy this morning. Look for temps around 57* today with rain and clouds.

Water temperature is 66*.

Sunset is at 5:19 p.m. and sunrise will be at 6:43 a.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
