Time of Report: 8:30 AM
Wave Forecast: shin to knee
Traffic: none
Parking: plenty
Dangers: none

Good morning, this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Saturday, Nov. 4 at 8:30 a.m.

Lots of neoprene and flannel in stock-come check it out!

Waves at the Washout are shin to knee high and perfectly glassy.

Winds are NNE at 5 to 7 knots, and should increase to 15-20 knots later today but stay in the NE direction.

We have a full moon high right now at 8:26, low tide will be at 2:42 pm. The next high tide will be at 8:50 p.m.

Edisto buoy is reading 2 ft. at 7 seconds in long period ENE swell.

Small Easterly swell continues today, but overall surf is pretty small. We could see a bump later in the day, right before dark but the winds will pick up as well. We could see some small waist high longboard waves on Sunday with moderate north-east winds.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure along with warm temperatures and dry conditions will prevail through early next week. A cold front is expected to push through the region around Wednesday, followed by high pressure through late next week.”

It’s a cool 60* and sunny this morning. Look for a beautiful beach day with a high of 78* and sunshine.

Water temperature has dropped to around 68*with the cold snap and that temp is just going to keep on dropping. Might want to get a wetsuit soon.

Sunset is at 6:28 p.m. and sunrise will be at 7:37 a.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
